World's Largest Museum Now in Beijing, China

After 2.5 billion RMB and nearly four years of renovations and expansions, the National Museum of China finally eopened on Tuesday, Mar. 1 to select visitors.

It tripled its previous size to over two million square feet and is now reportedly the largest museum in the world. It has more than one million cultural relics. Xinhua says it's open to the general public on March 17, 2011.
